  5. FMNA Workflow

    • Near & Far Find

      • Accessory pairing: When the accessory and the owner’s Apple device are paired in the “Find My” network, the phone sends a message and negotiates an encryption key pair with the accessory according to the process. The Owner device saves the private key and public key, and the accessory saves the public key.

      • Proximity search: The accessory, as a Bluetooth LE Beacon, continuously broadcasts a changing secret key (derived from the public key rotation).
